About WZ Physics
Weak Interaction Education · 弱相互作用教育咨询
弱相互作用教育咨询(WZ)专注于国际课程物理、数学及升学与竞赛准备。教学从物理原理出发,结合数学推导与具体问题,帮助学生建立理解、推理和独立解题的能力。
WZ Physics is built around a simple idea: strong physics teaching should develop both physical understanding and the precision needed to solve demanding problems.
The name comes from the weak interaction, one of the four fundamental interactions in nature. Its effects may be subtle, but they shape processes ranging from radioactive beta decay to the reactions that allow stars to shine — hence the motto:
Small Forces. Big Changes.
The teaching philosophy
Physics requires both a clear physical picture and careful mathematics. Understanding an equation means understanding the assumptions behind it, what its quantities describe and where it can be applied.
My aim is to connect the two: starting from physical principles, developing the mathematics carefully, and then applying both to unfamiliar problems and examination questions.
The objective is not simply to prepare for one exam, but to develop a way of reasoning that remains useful beyond it.
Background
My academic background is in physics, with postgraduate training at Imperial College London and research experience at King’s College London in computational and nanoscale physics.
I have taught physics for approximately eight years across A-Level and International A-Level, IB, AP, ESAT and Physics Olympiad preparation. My teaching ranges from secondary-school physics to mathematically demanding admissions and competition problems.
This combination of research experience and curriculum familiarity shapes the way I teach: concepts are developed from first principles, with attention to the notation, reasoning and problem-solving standards expected by the relevant examination system.
